Sofyan Amrabat has emerged as a major transfer target for four top Italian clubs, with Juventus, AC Milan, Atalanta, and his former side Fiorentina all reportedly keen on signing the Moroccan international.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the 27-year-old is high on the wishlist of several Serie A outfits, as he looks set to leave Turkish side Fenerbahçe, where he no longer features in the club’s plans for the upcoming season. Amrabat’s potential availability has ignited interest across Italy, with clubs eager to strengthen their midfield options.

The report highlights the renewed focus on Amrabat within Serie A, noting: “Sofyan Amrabat is one of the most sought-after names in the Italian top flight today.”

His previous success in Italy, particularly during his time at Fiorentina, appears to have left a lasting impression on several clubs now circling for his signature.

Juventus are believed to be among the front-runners, as new manager Thiago Motta continues to shape his squad for the new campaign. The Bianconeri are reportedly exploring options to add more steel and tactical discipline to their midfield — traits Amrabat has become known for.

AC Milan, under the guidance of Paulo Fonseca, are also understood to be monitoring the situation closely. With the departure of several midfielders in recent windows, the Rossoneri are looking for a player capable of dictating tempo and offering defensive balance, particularly in European fixtures.

Fiorentina, where Amrabat previously thrived before his loan spell at Manchester United, are also in the mix, possibly hoping for a reunion. His experience and familiarity with the club could make the transition smooth should he opt for a return to Florence.

Meanwhile, Atalanta are assessing midfield reinforcements ahead of their participation in next season’s UEFA Champions League. The Bergamo-based club has built a reputation for maximizing the potential of technically gifted and hard-working players, a profile Amrabat fits well.

Amrabat’s career has spanned several leagues and countries. He began his professional journey in the Netherlands with FC Utrecht before moving to Feyenoord.

He later joined Club Bruges in Belgium and Hellas Verona in Italy, which set the stage for his breakthrough at Fiorentina. His performances in Florence earned him a move to Manchester United on loan for the 2023–24 season.

Although his spell at Old Trafford was mixed, the Moroccan midfielder showcased his resilience and versatility, often featuring in various midfield roles under then-manager Erik ten Hag.

Following his return to Fenerbahçe, where he was briefly transferred, Amrabat now finds himself on the periphery, opening the door for a fresh challenge back in Serie A.

With the transfer window still open and negotiations ongoing, the race for Amrabat’s signature looks set to intensify in the coming weeks. The Moroccan, who played a pivotal role in his national team’s historic run to the semi-finals of the 2022 World Cup, remains a highly valued asset on the European market.
