South Africa defender Thulani Hlatshwayo’s move to Durban City on the verge of collapse
South Africa international Thulani Hlatshwayo’s reported move to Durban City in the ongoing summer transfer window could hit a snag.
The veteran defender is currently without a club following his departure from fellow South African outfit SuperSport United.
Hlatshwayo has been training with Durban City since last week in an attempt to secure a move to the club before the commencement of the upcoming football campaign.
Having left Durban City’s training camp, the experienced defender will continue to search for a new club before the season start.
The 35-year-old defender has made 412 appearances in his Betway Premiership career, scoring 25 goals and providing nine assists.
Durban City, having secured promotion to the Betway Premiership following a successful campaign in South Africa’s second division, settling on Gavin Hunt as their new head coach.
