ESPRÉRANCE DE TUNIS SIGNS MALIAN STRIKER SALIOU GUINDO
Espérance de Tunis has bolstered its attacking line with the signing of Saliou Guindo, a promising 19-year-old Malian striker, on a four-year deal. Guindo joins the Tunisian giants from ASEC Mimosas, where he impressed with his technique, intelligent runs, and knack for creating scoring chances.
“Guindo is a good striker. He has good technique. He makes varied runs in his ball runs. He has flair and knows how to create scoring opportunities,” praised his former coach Alain Gouamené.
The move marks a significant step in Guindo’s career as he transitions from West to North Africa, joining a club with a strong continental pedigree. At Espérance, he will reunite with fellow Mali U20 teammates Ichaka Diarra and Abdoulay Sissoko, further easing his integration into the squad. The Sang et Or are renowned for nurturing young talent, offering Guindo a platform to grow and shine on the African football stage.
