Newcastle United have targeted France international of DR Congo descent Randal Kolo Muani as a possible replacement for Alexander Isak.
Isak, who has Eritrean root is facing an uncertain future at Newcastle United, having expressed desire to part ways with the club in the ongoing summer transfer window, with Liverpool expressing keen interest in the Swedish star.
However, the Premier League outfit has set sights on Kolo Muani, who is also facing an uncertain future at Paris Saint Germain.
He spent half of the 2024/25 football campaign on loan at Juventus and racked up nine goals. Since Kolo Muani is not in the plans of coach Luis Enrique, the Franco-Congolese to secure a move away from the club this summer.
Kolo Muani has made a return to the Serie A giants a priority this summer, and despite talks to that end, a deal has not yet been reached.
Besides, Newcastle United, other Premier League clubs, including Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur have expressed interest in the forward.
The Magpies have already made enquiry about the France international with a view to a potential move.
