Roger Boli Sentenced to Prison for €270,000 Tax Debt
Former professional footballer Roger Boli, brother of Basile Boli, has been sentenced to four months in prison for failing to pay a substantial tax debt. According to La Voix du Nord, Boli, who is of Ivorian origin, owes over €270,000 to the French tax authorities. Despite multiple warnings, the debt has remained unpaid, leading to his conviction by the Arras High Court.
In addition to the prison sentence, Boli has been fined €2,000 in damages. This legal issue comes as a serious blow to the former player’s personal life, reflecting the consequences of failing to meet financial obligations.
