ADAMA BA LEAVES BASTIA AFTER CONTRACT TERMINATION
Adama Ba’s time at SC Bastia has officially come to an end. The Corsican club announced on Wednesday that they have mutually agreed to terminate the contract of the Mauritanian international winger, who had been with the club since 2013.
The 21-year-old attacking midfielder spent the previous season on loan at Chamois Niortais (Niort), where he enjoyed more playing time. However, his return to Bastia did not lead to a reintegration into the first-team plans, prompting an early contract termination.
Ba, known for his pace and technical ability, will now look for a new challenge to reignite his career. With international experience under his belt and a solid campaign at Niort behind him, he is likely to attract interest from clubs in France and abroad.
This marks another step in the reshaping of Bastia’s squad ahead of the new season.
