He was exciting to watch – Tottenham manager Thomas Frank hails Kudus Mohammed’s debut appearance

Head coach of Tottenham Hotspur Thomas Frank has eulogized Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus following an impressive debut appearance at the weekend.

The Premier League outfit and reigning Europa League winners triumphed over Reading with a 2-0 win at the weekend.

Kudus made substitute appearance and made his presence felt, setting up a goal to help his side secure victory on Saturday at the Select Car Leasing Stadium.

The Ghana international, who recently switched from West Ham United to Spurs, needed no time to impress in his new shirt.

He was involved in the game, linking well with his teammates and showing the kind of sharp movement and vision that fans hoped for. Mohammed Kudus created the most chances (3) in the match.

“Mo Kudus, he’s the newest one, I thought he was exciting to watch, had four or five very good actions where you can see what he’s about, his pace, his one-on-one skills, the way he can twist and turn going forward. That was a positive” he said.

Having made an impressive start to life at Tottenham, the enterprising Ghanaian midfielder will be hoping to maintain his performance for the upcoming 2025/26 football campaign.
