Paris Saint Germain eyeing summer move for Franco-Congolese midfielder Eduardo Camavinga
Paris Saint Germain are plotting a move for France international of Congolese descent Eduardo Camavinga in the ongoing summer transfer window.
The French giants are seeking to strengthen their squad for the upcoming 2025/26 football season following their disappointing defeat to Chelsea in the FIFA Club World Cup final held in the USA.
PSG have now set their sights on signing Camavinga, who has struggled for minutes under new coach Xabi Alonso. The Spanish giants is open to considering a sale of the French midfielder, having struggled with frequent injuries and inconsistent form.
With PSG manger Luis Enrique being a huge admirer of the midfielder, the Frecnh club is expected to go all out for the acquisition of Camavinga.
However, Camavinga is determined to fight for a spot in the starting eleven under Xabi Alonso. Camavinga’s potential departure is further complicated by Jude Bellingham’s injury, which will keep him sidelined until November.
The French outfit’s interest in Camavinga is nothing new, as the Parisians tried to sign him during his spell with boyhood club Stade Rennes.
