Premier League Trio Eye Wolves Star Bakary Sako
Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Bakary Sako could be set for a move to the Premier League, with several top-flight clubs reportedly interested in the Mali international.
According to the Daily Mail, newly promoted Bournemouth are among the frontrunners for the 27-year-old’s signature, as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of their debut season in the English Premier League.
Sako enjoyed an impressive campaign with Wolves last season, scoring 15 goals in the Championship. His performances have not gone unnoticed, with Premier League sides Aston Villa and Everton also said to be monitoring the winger’s situation closely.
Out of contract at Molineux, Sako has been tipped to make the step up to the top flight, and a move could materialise in the coming weeks as clubs finalise their transfer business ahead of the new season.
Sako, who joined Wolves in 2012 from French side Saint-Étienne, has been a key figure in the team’s attacking setup and remains one of the Championship’s standout performers. His pace, direct play, and eye for goal have made him a fan favourite and a constant threat to opposition defences.
With interest growing, Wolves may struggle to keep hold of the Malian star, who is reportedly keen to test himself at a higher level. No official bids have yet been confirmed, but negotiations are expected to intensify as the season approaches.
