The Ivory Coast U17 team ended Morocco’s hopes in the semi-final of the African Under-17 Cup of Nations with a 2-1 victory in Casablanca. Despite Morocco’s efforts to come back with a penalty scored by Sabbar in the 67th minute, Ivory Coast’s early goals by Bedia (30′) and Niangbo (38′) secured their place in the final. The host country, Morocco, will now watch the final as a spectator, while Ivory Coast awaits the winner of the second semi-final between Nigeria and Tunisia.
