ZED FC defender Mohamed Ismail not on Al Ahly’s radar

ZED FC defender Mohamed Ismail is not a transfer target for Egyptian powerhouse Al Ahly as purported to be in the media.

Al Ahly are keen on strengthening their squad for the 2025/26 football campaign in an attempt to compete for laurels. Mohamed Ismail, one of the most sought-after players in Egypt is currently not on the radar of the Red Castle.

According to sources, the purported negotiations with ZED FC for the transfer of their defender to Al Ahly are untrue.

Al-Ahly have bolstered their defense to the brim ahead of the commencement of the new season, following the arrival of Mostafa El-Ash permanently from ZED, Yassin Marei from Pharco, and Ahmed Ramadan Beckham from Ceramica Cleopatra for the upcoming campaign.

In addition to promoting Ahmed Abdeen, to strengthen the center-back position, alongside Yasser Ibrahim and Ashraf Dari, the Egyptian giants seems to be satisfied with the depth of their defense for the new season.

Currently, Al Ahly are prioritizing the signing of a new striker, with Palestinian striker Wissam Abu Ali set to depart the club.
