Aymen Abdennour in High Demand After Stellar Season with Monaco
After a standout campaign with AS Monaco, both in Ligue 1 and the Champions League, Aymen Abdennour has become one of Europe’s most sought-after central defenders. According to his agent, several top clubs have made concrete offers for the Tunisian international.
Clubs such as Valencia, Newcastle, Tottenham, Inter Milan, and Wolfsburg have already shown strong interest. “Yes, we have received concrete offers from these clubs. They are seriously interested in Aymen. They’re asking: ‘How much?’ And this is just the beginning,” his representative revealed.
But the list doesn’t end there. Arsenal, Bayern Munich, and Barcelona are also reportedly monitoring the situation. “Bayern has shown serious interest. And even Barça had him on their radar back when Zubizarreta was there. Now with Ariedo Braida, he still fits their plans—especially with the transfer ban in place until January,” the agent added.
Juventus is also keen, and Abdennour’s profile continues to attract other Italian clubs, underlining how rare it is to find a defender of his caliber on the market.
As for Paris Saint-Germain, they too have expressed interest but are currently constrained by Financial Fair Play regulations. “Paris likes him. But they need clarity on their squad—who stays and who leaves—before making a move. But Aymen is definitely on their list,” his agent concluded.
With such high demand, Aymen Abdennour’s next move could be one of the summer’s big transfer stories.
