Wydad Casablanca are keen on securing the services of Zamalek and Morocco defender Salah El-Din Mossadek in the ongoing summer transfer window.

The Moroccan giants are seeking to bolster their squad for the 2025/26 campaign in an attempt to compete for laurels following an unimpressive output last term.

In a massive squad overhaul, Wydad Casablanca have released 21 players following the club’s disappointing performance at the FIFA Club World Cup.

Wydad Casablanca finished last in their group at the Club World Cup with no points, after losing all three matches against Manchester City, Juventus, and Al Ain.

However, on the recommendation of coach Amine Benhachem, the club has set sights on signing the defender as the club aim to build a formidable squad for the upcoming 2025/26 football campaign.

Musaddiq previously featured for Wydad Casablanca before joining the White Castle.
