Ahmed Amin’s suspension and fines for Enppi and Baladya highlight round 11 of the Egyptian League

Ahmed Amin Qaffa, the Enppi coach, faced suspension, and fines were imposed on Enppi and Baladya El-Mahalla as part of the penalties for the 11th round of the Egyptian League, announced by the Egyptian Professional Clubs Association.

These measures follow the issuance of special sanctions related to the match between Al-Masry and Al-Ismaily in the same round due to fan violence.

Enppi received a fine of 25,000 Egyptian pounds due to not complying with the uniform regulations, leading to the disruption of their match against Baladya El-Mahalla.

Simultaneously, Baladya El-Mahalla was fined the same amount for the same reason, causing the disruption of their match against Enppi.

In addition to the club fines, Magdy Abdel Aati, the coach of Zed, received a one-match suspension and a fine of 10,000 Egyptian pounds for his expulsion in protest of the referee’s decision.

Shadi Hussein, a player from Zed, received a fine of 25,000 Egyptian pounds, while Peter Motomisi, another Zed player, was suspended for one match due to receiving two yellow cards in the same game.

Enppi secured a victory over Baladya El-Mahalla with a scoreline of 3-0, while Zed faced their first defeat this season against the Military Production team, losing 2-0.

Zed currently tops the league standings with 19 points, followed closely by Enppi with the same points and goal difference.

The penalties reflect the Egyptian Professional Clubs Association’s commitment to maintaining discipline and fair play within the league, ensuring the integrity and sportsmanship of the competitions.
