The aftermath of disorderly fan conduct during the eleventh round of the Egyptian Premier League clash between Ismaily and Masry has led the Professional Clubs Association to issue sanctions against both teams.
The sanctions are as follows:
1. 474 fans from Masry are banned from attending six Egyptian Premier League matches or any match during their suspension in any competition.
2. 153 fans from Ismaily face the same punishment of not being able to attend six matches in the Egyptian Premier League or any match during their suspension in any competition.
3. Both clubs are fined EGP 100,000 each, with the additional requirement to cover the costs of damages incurred at the Army Stadium in Borg El Arab, Alexandria.
4. Five individuals holding specific fan card numbers are prohibited from entering any stadium for a duration of three years.

Yasser Yahya, a board member of Masry, explained the causes of the clashes, stating, “What happened was that three young Masry fans, no older than 14, went to join their friend in the Ismaily stands.
Their intention was merely to sit with him. However, at that moment, Ismaily scored their first goal, and some Ismaily fans attacked them.
The person appearing in the video was trying to resolve the issue, but events took an unfortunate turn.”
He continued, “What happened was illogical, but the intention was not to attack Ismaily fans or create any problems.
I urge the fans to help bring them back to the stands. What happened was not logical, but it should not be marketed as a major crisis.”
Ahmed Diab, the president of the Professional Clubs Association, emphasized, “We will not back down, and we will continue with our plans to increase the number of fans.
We lament the lack of awareness among some who attend league matches.”
Diab stressed, “Those at fault from Masry and Ismaily will be punished, and we call on all Egyptian football fans and management boards to assist us.”
Masry has accumulated 16 points from nine matches, securing the seventh position with a three-point difference from the league leaders.
Ismaily, on the other hand, has earned 8 points from ten matches, placing fifteenth with a one-point margin from the relegation positions.
