ADEBAYOR FAMILY FEUD DEEPENS AS SISTER FIRES BACK
The public and painful fallout between Emmanuel Adebayor and his family continues to escalate. Following the Togolese striker’s explosive Facebook revelations accusing his family members of manipulation and financial abuse, his sister Lucia Adebayor has now responded with strong words of her own.
Speaking through a Ghanaian radio station’s Facebook page, Lucia accused Adebayor of dishonesty:
“Continue lying to the whole world, brother… Where is the car you bought for mom… you took it back… The phones Rotimi stole are all lies…”
She went further, denying the accusations and expressing disdain for his public airing of private matters:
“We, the family, don’t even need you anymore, continue your path, we will continue ours. What you have today does not guarantee tomorrow… May God Allah forgive you… The Alphas and Mallams have done a lot of harm to your life. Only God can save your soul…”
This latest response suggests that reconciliation remains distant. Adebayor had previously shared deeply personal struggles, including mental health battles and alleged betrayal by those closest to him. The ongoing saga reveals the toll fame and fortune can take on family ties, especially when handled in the public eye.
