Tanzania: Young Africans Crowned Champions!

Young Africans Crowned Tanzanian Champions for 20th Time

Young Africans SC have clinched the Tanzanian Premier League title with two matches to spare, following a dominant 4–1 victory over Polisi Morogoro on Monday.

The win took Yanga’s points tally to 55, placing them ten points clear of second-placed Azam FC, who remain on 45 points—an insurmountable gap with only two rounds of fixtures remaining.

This triumph marks the 20th league title in the illustrious history of the Dar es Salaam-based club, further cementing their status as one of East Africa’s football powerhouses.

Yanga’s emphatic win over Polisi Morogoro showcased their attacking strength and composure under pressure, wrapping up the title in style. The team has been a dominant force throughout the campaign, combining experience, depth, and flair to reclaim the crown.

Celebrations are already underway among the club’s passionate supporters, as they prepare to celebrate another chapter in Yanga’s storied legacy. With two matches still to be played, the team will look to finish the season strongly and cap off what has been a memorable campaign.
