Alaeddine Yahia’s Season Ends Due to Calf Injury
Caen’s Tunisian defender, Alaeddine Yahia, will miss the remainder of the season after suffering a calf strain. Yahia, a key player for the club, will not be part of the squad for Saturday’s match against Lyon. This news was confirmed by head coach Patrice Garande during a pre-match press conference.
Garande mentioned he will travel with a squad of 17 outfield players, leaving some uncertainty about the final lineup. Other injury updates include:
Felipe Saad is also sidelined with a calf injury.
Yrondu Musavu-King, who is recovering from a stomach flu, will not feature in the match.
However, Féret and Bazile have recovered and are available for selection.
Jordan Adéoti, who had a thigh injury in the match against Nice, is expected to continue in central defense.
Caen will hope to overcome these injury challenges as they head into the critical final matches of the season.
