Mohamed Ounajem’s possible return to Egypt is currently uncertain due to a salary dispute.
The Moroccan international has received an offer from Ismailia Electricity, a club newly promoted to the Egyptian Premier League for the upcoming season.
Ounajem previously played for Zamalek in Egypt and is currently with Libyan side Al-Suqoor.
According to Kooora, negotiations over the player’s annual salary are ongoing, but no agreement has been reached yet.
Meanwhile, Ismailia Electricity has appointed Reda Shehata as the team’s technical director and strengthened their attack by signing former Zamalek striker Omar El-Said.
The club has also added Eastern Company’s Basem Adel and Interior Ministry’s Fahad Jumaa to their roster as part of several new signings.
