FC Séquence emerged victorious in the 53rd Guinean National Cup, defeating Ashanti Gold in the final held in Boké. The second division club, led by Mamadouba Gauché Camara, secured their third National Cup title after a penalty shootout, with a final score of 4-2.
In the absence of the President of the Republic, the winner’s trophy was presented to FC Séquence by the Minister of Sports, Titi Camara, a former captain of the national team.
As the winners of the National Cup, FC Séquence has earned the opportunity to represent Guinea in the Confederation Cup (CAF Cup) in the upcoming season. The victory marks a significant achievement for the club and showcases their prowess in Guinean football.
