Sam Allardyce Linked with Nigeria Coaching Job
As his contract with West Ham United nears its end, Sam Allardyce could be preparing for a new chapter — potentially with the Nigerian national team. According to The Sun, the experienced English manager is reportedly on the Nigerian Football Federation’s (NFF) radar as a potential replacement for Stephen Keshi, whose future with the Super Eagles remains uncertain.
While Daniel Amokachi, currently serving as interim coach, is also being considered, Allardyce’s name brings a seasoned profile to the table. His Premier League experience and tactical acumen could be attractive assets for a team looking to rebuild and reassert itself on the continental stage.
For now, nothing is confirmed — but with Allardyce’s contract set to expire at the end of the 2014–2015 season, a move to Africa might not be out of the question. Stay tuned.
