Bwana Samatta Growing Frustrated with TP Mazembe Over Blocked European Transfers
Tanzanian striker Bwana Samatta is reportedly eager to leave Tout Puissant Mazembe and is willing to take drastic measures to make it happen. According to sources, Samatta is increasingly dissatisfied with his club’s management, which has consistently obstructed his moves to European clubs.
The latest incident occurred last week when Standard Liège showed strong interest and was ready to invest significantly to secure his signature. However, TP Mazembe president Moïse Katumbi failed to attend a key meeting arranged in Brussels by Standard’s president, Roland Duchâtelet, frustrating the deal.
Samatta, who already holds a leadership role as part of Standard Liège’s captaincy and dreams of finally playing in Europe, openly expressed his anger over the missed opportunity.
This is reportedly the seventh time that Samatta’s chance to move abroad has been blocked or delayed by TP Mazembe, causing mounting frustration and uncertainty about his future.
