In a recent revelation, Ayman El-Shirei, President of Enppi Football Club, disclosed the imminent move of Mohamed Hamdi, the team’s left-back, to the Portuguese League during the ongoing winter transfer window.
El-Shirei also highlighted Servette SC’s interest in securing the services of Ahmed Amin Oufa, the forward from the Petroleum Club.
Speaking in a telephone interview on ON Time Sports 1, Ayman El-Shirei stated, “Mohamed Hamdi is approximately 70% close to joining the Portuguese League, and I personally am keen on his move to this league.”
Elaborating on the potential benefits of such a move, El-Shirei remarked, “Portugal is well-known for how they handle talents, developing them and subsequently marketing them to top clubs in Portugal, such as Sporting Lisbon, or even in the Spanish League.”
Addressing Oufa’s situation, El-Shirei clarified, “As of now, we haven’t received any official offer from Servette SC in Switzerland.
Someone approached me in a friendly manner regarding Ahmed Amin Oufa, but there have been no formal discussions yet.
If we receive an official offer, we will discuss it and announce it immediately.”
He emphasized the importance of considering the environment where Mohamed Hamdi would live, stating, “Another aspect that might surprise some is my interest in the place and the city where Mohamed Hamdi will live because these factors make a difference in a player’s career.”
Responding to queries about Abdel Aziz El-Belaeiti, Enppi’s goalkeeper, El-Shirei asserted, “The final word is that Abdel Aziz El-Belaeiti will continue with the club and will not leave in this period.”
