Southampton turn down £10 million offer from Atalanta for Ghana winger Kamaldeen Sulemana

Southampton have turned down £10 million offer from Serie A outfit Atalanta for Ghana winger Kamaldeen Sulemana.

The Italian outfit, who are keen to make a meaningful impact next campaign, have earmarked the pacey winger as one of their targets for the summer transfer window. The club is determined to add Sulemana to their ranks for the 2025/26 football campaign.

Amid growing interest in the attacker, Southampton are demanding a 10-20 million pounds valuation for the transfer of the talented Ghanaian winger.

Atalanta presented £10 million to Southampton in an attempt to lure the winger, but it has been rebuffed by the Saints as they demand for more.

The 23-year-old made 26 appearances in the Premier League in the recently concluded season, scoring one goal and providing an assist across the period.

Sulemana will compete in the English Championship in the upcoming campaign if he is unable to secure a move from Southampton this summer. The Saints struggled in the recently concluded Premier League season, finishing bottom with just 12 points from 38 matches.

Currently under contract until 2027, the pacey Ghanaian winger has yet to decide his future. While on holiday, the former FC Nordjaelland and Stade Rennais star is weighing up his options, having attracted interest from several clubs in Europe.

Aside, Atalanta, Sulemana is on the wishlist of fellow Serie A club Genoa, Turkish outfit Trabzonspor and Dutch giants Ajax.
