Medeama Launches Its Own Radio Station on 92.9 FM
Ghanaian Premier League club Medeama SC has taken a major step forward in boosting its brand and outreach by launching its own radio station — Medeama FM — now broadcasting on 92.9 FM.
The station officially began operations on Monday, and it’s already generating buzz. According to Ghanasoccernet.com, numerous Ghanaian journalists are eager to join the new media platform, which is expected to feature a wide range of programming focused on the club’s activities, matches, community involvement, and broader football content.
Club president Moses Armah stated that this is just the beginning, with the ultimate goal of transforming Medeama into the most attractive club in West Africa.
“This radio station is a powerful tool to connect with our fans and promote what Medeama stands for,” Armah emphasized.
The timing of the launch aligns with the club’s pre-season preparations. Medeama recently sent a strong signal of intent with a 3-0 victory over Ghana’s U23 national team, showing both on-field strength and now off-field ambition.
With Medeama FM, the club hopes to set a precedent in club-owned media engagement in the region.
