According to the Metro, one name topping Liverpool’s shortlist is Diafra Sakho. The Senegalese forward, who joined West Ham United from FC Metz last summer, has had a remarkable start in the Premier League. His impressive goal-scoring form has helped propel West Ham to fourth place after 15 matches—a position few predicted at the start of the season.
Sakho’s pace, physical presence, and finishing ability have quickly made him a standout in the English top flight, and his performances haven’t gone unnoticed by top clubs. A winter move to Anfield could be on the cards if Liverpool choose to cut their losses with Balotelli and revamp their frontline.
