AFCON 2015: TUNISIA PREPARES TRAINING PLAN AND SEEKS NEW ASSISTANT COACH
After finishing top of their qualifying group, Tunisia is now turning its full attention to preparing for the 2015 African Cup of Nations, set to take place in Equatorial Guinea.
The Tunisian Football Federation (FTF) has announced that its executive board will soon convene at the federation’s headquarters to finalize key aspects of the national team’s preparation, including head coach Georges Leekens’ schedule and training camp plans.
According to reports, the final training camp ahead of departure for AFCON could be held in either Morocco or Portugal, with both locations being considered for their favorable conditions.
Another important topic on the agenda is the appointment of a new assistant coach, following the departure of Ghazi Gherairi, who recently took charge at Club Sportif Sfaxien. A replacement is expected to be named shortly to support Leekens in the continental tournament campaign.
