CAEN: YRONDU MUSAVU OUT UNTIL JANUARY AFTER KNEE SURGERY
Bad news for Caen and Gabon: Yrondu Musavu-King is officially sidelined until the end of the year. The central defender missed the recent draw between Caen and Monaco and has since undergone arthroscopic surgery on his left knee this Thursday.
While his recovery is expected to take two weeks, the club has confirmed that he won’t be match-fit before the winter break. Optimistically, Musavu-King should return to full action by early January, just in time for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations, where he hopes to represent Gabon.
However, if his recovery does not go as planned, the Panthers could be forced to head to Equatorial Guinea without one of their key defensive pillars.
