Benin Gears Up for UEMOA Tournament in Lomé with 40-Man Provisional Squad
As the UEMOA (West African Economic and Monetary Union) Tournament approaches, Benin’s national team has begun intensive preparations ahead of the November 22 kickoff in Lomé, Togo. Drawn in Group A alongside Burkina Faso, Senegal, and Guinea-Bissau, the local-based Squirrels are under the guidance of Ulrich Alohoutadé and Bruno Goudjo.
A provisional squad of 40 players has been called to camp, with selection largely favoring talent from clubs within the UEMOA zone. By November 3, this list will be trimmed down to the final 25-man roster.
