Lamine Yamal is dreaming of lifting the Nations League title for Spain.

After a stunning performance against France, the 17-year-old starlet declared his ambition loud and clear.

The young Barcelona forward was electric in Spain’s win over France, scoring twice a semi-final that many billed as a Ballon d’Or preview between Yamal and France’s Ousmane Dembele.

“France is a great team, they make you suffer, and that’s normal,” Yamal said post-match.

“They are players who make you suffer until the end. But we are very happy with this victory. Portugal will be like this match, with world-class players. We are two very good teams, and I hope to bring the Nations League back to Spain.”
