Mana Dembélé Linked with Move to Ligue 2 Amid Struggles at Guingamp
French striker Mana Dembélé is reportedly considering a move to Ligue 2 this season as he seeks more regular playing time after a difficult spell at Guingamp.
Since arriving at Guingamp during the winter transfer window, the 25-year-old forward of Malian descent has struggled to establish himself in the squad, making just 10 appearances—only two of which were starts. With limited opportunities in Ligue 1, Dembélé is now attracting interest from several clubs in the second division, according to L’Equipe.
Teams including Angers, Nancy, and Le Havre have reportedly expressed a desire to take Dembélé on loan, hoping to benefit from the services of the former Clermont striker. The move would offer the player a chance to regain form and consistent minutes on the pitch.
Dembélé still has three years remaining on his contract with Guingamp, but a loan spell in Ligue 2 could prove crucial for revitalising his career.
