Franco-Moroccan coach Abdeslam Ouaddou bids emotional farewell to Marumo Gallants as he depart club

Franco-Moroccan tactician Abdeslam Ouaddou has said his final goodbye to South African outfit Marumo Gallants following his departure from the club.

After a short spell in South Africa, the 46-year-old trainer exited Marumo Gallant following the closure of the season. He leaves the club after just three months in charge. Ouaddou was appointed March 2025, replacing Dan Malesela.

Ouddou succeeded in the task entrusted to him by the management to keep the team out of the relegation zone. Despite the teams dip in form, Marumo Gallant escape the drop at the end of the campaign.

The Moroccan coach played 12 matches with the team, winning five, drawing four and losing three.

“This statement serves to formally conclude my tenure with Marumo Gallants FC. My time with the club has been an incredibly rewarding experience, working alongside the entire organization’s dedicated personnel”

“I extend my deepest gratitude to the players, club president, and all stakeholders who contributed – both directly and indirectly – to our collective mission of stabilizing the club. A special acknowledgment goes to our incredible supporters, whose passion I’ll forever cherish”

“The Bloemfontein community will always hold a special place in my heart. I wish nothing but success for Marumo Gallants and the talented players I’ve had the privilege to work with.

As I move forward, I’m actively seeking new opportunities and welcome discussions regarding ambitious projects that present fresh challenges.” He concluded.
