Moroccan international Azzedine Ounahi has emerged as a sought-after talent, despite delivering a mixed performance for Olympique de Marseille (OM) this season. Al Shabab and Al Ittihad have emerged as frontrunners in expressing keen interest in securing the services of the 23-year-old midfielder, who has notched two goals in 17 appearances across various competitions in the current campaign.

Foot Mercato, a reliable source on football transfers, reports that Ounahi’s talent has not gone unnoticed by other major Saudi clubs, with Al Hilal, Al Duhail, and Al Ahli closely monitoring the midfielder’s situation. Olympique de Marseille, receptive to the possibility of Ounahi’s departure, is navigating the interest from multiple clubs.

Since his arrival at Marseille in January 2023 from Angers, the Casablanca-born midfielder has been under contract with the club until June 2027.

His market value is currently estimated at 12 million euros. Ounahi commands an annual salary of 4,150,000 euros (approximately 2,697,500,000 FCFA) as part of his association with the Phocéens.

As the transfer speculation swirls around Ounahi, Olympique de Marseille prepares for their upcoming 1/32 final match in the Coupe de France against Thionville.

Notably, betting company 1xbet is already providing odds for the fixture, with OM securing a 1.21 chance for victory, a draw standing at 8.76, and Thionville’s success valued at 15.00.

The Moroccan midfielder’s potential move to Saudi Arabia adds an intriguing chapter to his football journey, offering a fresh canvas for his burgeoning talent to flourish in the competitive realm of Saudi football. The unfolding narrative promises a captivating transfer saga as Saudi clubs aim to secure Ounahi’s signature, further elevating the international allure of the Pro League.
