Marouane Chamakh Extends Stay at Crystal Palace
Marouane Chamakh has committed his future to Crystal Palace by signing a two-year contract extension with the Premier League club. The Moroccan forward, who joined the Eagles in 2013, played a key role in helping the team avoid relegation last season, scoring five goals in 32 league appearances.
Chamakh’s solid performances and adaptation to life in England have been praised, leading to his new deal. Initially joining Palace on loan, the former Bordeaux and Arsenal striker has now become a permanent fixture at the south London club.
Crystal Palace officially confirmed the extension via social media on July 11, 2014.
