Yacine Brahimi Draws Interest from Europe’s Top Clubs After Impressive World Cup
Following an impressive World Cup campaign with Algeria, Yacine Brahimi is attracting growing attention from major European clubs eager to secure his signature. The 24-year-old attacking midfielder, currently at Granada, has impressed both at club level and on the global stage, positioning himself for a move to a bigger team.
Brahimi’s standout performances in Brazil, particularly in Algeria’s 4-2 victory over South Korea where his dribbling, vision, and control dominated, have significantly raised his profile. Known as La Liga’s best dribbler over the past two seasons, the former Rennes player is eager to build on this momentum.
According to French broadcaster BFMTV, Italian giants AS Roma are among the clubs interested in Brahimi. Meanwhile, Portuguese powerhouse Porto and English Premier League sides Newcastle United and Everton have also been closely monitoring the Algerian star.
English clubs have shown particular enthusiasm, with Liverpool, Newcastle, Tottenham Hotspur, and Everton having tracked Brahimi well before the World Cup began. Tottenham reportedly value him at around eight million euros and are ready to enter negotiations with Granada.
Despite his rising reputation, Brahimi remains grounded. “I still need to improve certain things: score more goals, make more assists, and not dribble just for the sake of dribbling,” he admitted recently.
As the World Cup exposure boosts his career prospects, Brahimi appears poised to take the next step in his development by moving to a club where he can challenge at a higher level. Clubs across Europe will be watching closely as transfer talks unfold in the coming weeks.
