Zamalek have slapped in an official bid to secure the services of Tanzania and Young African striker Clement Mzize this summer.
The Egyptian giants are keen to snap up the 21-year-old attacker, who is considered as one of the hottest players in the Tanzanian top-flight.
He racked up four goals in five appearances in the CAF Champions League this season before bowing out of the competition.
Since joining the club in 2022, Clement Mzize has established himself as a key member of the team, contributing to their success in Tanzania.
Having made an official offer, Zamalek has taken a daring step in revamping its frontline in an attempt to compete next season.
Known to be a proven goal scorer with sharp instincts and pace, Mzize has drawn widespread attention with his performances in the Tanzanian Premier League and continental tournaments.
With the 2025/26 season on the horizon, Zamalek’s undergoing aggressive squad rebuild, with Mzize emerging as a top priority target as they look to inject youth, energy and finishing prowess into their forward line.
Negotiations with Yanga are said to be progressing, but no final agreement has been struck. Zamalek remains “determined to complete the deal at any cost,” signaling serious intent to land the striker ahead of rival suitors.
Should the deal go through, Clement Mzize would follow in the footsteps of several successful African stars who made the leap to North African football—potentially becoming a key piece in Zamalek’s resurgence next season.
