Zamalek SC is navigating a difficult financial path, according to club treasurer Hossam El-Mendouh, who revealed the heavy toll recent FIFA fines and registration bans have taken on the club’s resources.
He noted that while the burden is significant, the current board has been working tirelessly to find solutions.
In a televised interview, El-Mendouh explained: “Zamalek’s treasury paid huge amounts of money due to fines and registration suspensions, and it is difficult to pay all the dues at once. But we succeeded in solving the registration crisis, and we are currently working to address all financial issues and pending files.”
He emphasized the board’s commitment to long-term recovery: “The board of directors is making intensive efforts to find solutions, and we assure Zamalek fans that the coming period will witness stability.”
El-Mendouh also highlighted the importance of the new branch in 6th of October City as a future revenue source.
Responding to speculation, he clarified there is no crisis involving Abdullah El Said and urged fans to stand by the club during this rebuilding phase.
