Nabi: “we made mistakes against Soualem and squandered deserved points”

نابي ارتكبنا أخطاء أمام السوالم وأهدرنا نقطتين كنا نستحقها 780x470 1

Nasreddine Nabi, the coach of the Royal Army football team, expressed dissatisfaction with the team’s performance, stating that they did not deserve a draw against Chabab Soualem (2-2) in the 13th round of the Inwi Professional Championship.

Addressing the media in the post-match press conference, Nabi likened the result to an unfortunate incident, emphasizing, “Honestly, we deserved two points based on the flow of the game against a team that refused to play.”

Nabi continued, “We are familiar with the playing scenario of Chabab Soualem.

We tried to take as many precautions as possible, but despite that, we made a mistake.”

He concluded, “We tried to come back after that, created numerous opportunities, and dominated completely.

We did the difficult part, returned positively in the scoreline, vowing not to repeat the same mistake at the beginning of the match.

Unfortunately, we did repeat it.

Mistakes happen; it’s an incident against a team playing according to its style and capabilities.

The players gave their all.

We dropped two points, but that’s football.”

The coach’s candid assessment reflects the frustration within the team for failing to secure a victory they believed they deserved.

The acknowledgment of errors and the commitment to learning from them are integral to the team’s growth and resilience in future encounters.

As the Royal Army reflects on this draw, they will undoubtedly focus on refining their strategies to avoid similar pitfalls and ensure a more favorable outcome in upcoming fixtures.
