Ahead of the imminent African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Ivory Coast, the Egyptian national football team will undergo a crucial training camp hosted in the state-of-the-art administrative capital.

The camp, set to take place from January 2 to January 9, will culminate in a friendly match against Tanzania on January 7 at the Cairo International Stadium.

Mohamed Gharib, the director of the national team, confirmed the decision to hold the training camp in the new administrative capital, emphasizing the significance of the preparations leading up to AFCON.
