AC Milan Hesitant Over Permanent Deal for Adil Rami Amid Player’s Desire to Stay
AC Milan are reportedly weighing up whether to make a permanent move for defender Adil Rami, currently on loan from Valencia. The Italian club is said to be reluctant to commit to the transfer fee, believed to be between €5 million and €10 million, considering it somewhat expensive.
However, the Franco-Moroccan international has expressed his clear intention to remain at Milan beyond the current loan spell. Having joined the Rossoneri midway through the season, Rami has settled in well and is keen to continue his career under the guidance of coach Filippo Inzaghi.
Responding to fans on Twitter, the Valencia player reaffirmed his wish to make his stay at San Siro permanent, although he stopped short of discussing any contract details.
Rami’s potential permanent transfer would bolster Milan’s defensive options as they prepare for the upcoming campaign.
