Moroccan international Ismael Saibari has been shortlisted for the prestigious Eredivisie Player of the Season award, following a standout campaign with PSV Eindhoven.
The 22-year-old forward has played a pivotal role in PSV’s title chase, delivering 13 goals and 14 assists in all competitions.
In the league alone, he has contributed nine goals and eleven assists, firmly establishing himself as one of the top performers in Dutch football this season.
Saibari will face tough competition for the accolade. Ajax striker Sem Steijn, the league’s top scorer with 24 goals, is also in the running, alongside fellow Ajax teammates Kenneth Taylor and Davy Klaassen, as well as Feyenoord’s Igor Paixão.

The winner will be selected by the captains of all 18 Eredivisie clubs, with data from Opta and Man of the Match honours factored into the decision. The result is set to be announced on May 26 in Utrecht.
With just two matches remaining and PSV trailing Ajax by a single point, Saibari could still end the season with both team and individual glory—if the cards fall his way this weekend.
