African Football Night Returns for a Second Edition in Abidjan
The much-anticipated second edition of African Football Night (Nuit du Football Africain – NFA) will take place this Thursday in Abidjan, celebrating the achievements of the continent’s football stars and their impact both on and off the field. The event is organized to promote and recognize African football excellence, and your go-to source, Africa Top Sports, will be covering the occasion.
Conceived by Yves Sawadogo, the NFA is not only a celebration of talent but also a platform aimed at encouraging humanitarian and societal engagement among footballers, fostering exchanges between them, and highlighting Africa’s presence at the 20th FIFA World Cup, which features five African national teams.

Former Cameroonian international Joseph Antoine Bell is the guest of honor, while fellow Cameroonian legend Patrick Mboma will preside as jury president. Football figures of international repute, including Pape Diouf, Kalusha Bwalya, Stephen Keshi, and Hervé Renard, are already in the Ivorian capital ahead of the ceremony.
