Former Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Nenê created quite a stir as he engaged in a physical altercation with Moroccan player Houssine Kharja during a derby match in the Qatari championship.
The clash occurred between Al Gharafa, Nenê’s team, and Al Arabi, the club of the Moroccan international Atlas Lion. The match escalated into a general brawl, with Nenê receiving a second warning and subsequently striking Kharja. In retaliation, Kharja, who had been trained at PSG, aggressively confronted the Brazilian midfielder. Notably, even the presence of Djibril Cissé on the field failed to quell the heated situation.
