Hassan Benabicha Appointed Head Coach of Morocco’s National Olympic Team
Hassan Benabicha has been officially named the new head coach of Morocco’s national Olympic football team. The former interim coach of the Atlas Lions signed a three-year contract following discussions with Noureddine Bouchehati, the president of the national team committee.
Benabicha, who previously stepped in as interim coach for Morocco’s friendly match against Gabon in March, brings a wealth of experience to the role. He has an extensive background in football management, having served as the technical director at the prestigious Wydad Casablanca (WAC) and as a youth coach.
His appointment marks the beginning of a new chapter for the Moroccan Olympic team as they look ahead to upcoming international challenges.
