Libya international Moatasem Al-Musrati is set to spend time on the sidelines after picking an injury at Monaco.
The experienced midfielder, who joined Monaco on loan from Besiktas suffered a calf injury against Saint Etienne, ruling him out of the 2024/25 season.
His time at Monaco could be over with the midfielder only arriving on loan with an option to buy. Since joining the French giants, the 29-year-old has racked up 10 appearances in the Ligue 1, scoring one goal and delivering an assist.
Al-Musrati could return to his parent club at the end of the season, having failed to live up to the billing for a permanent switch.
The midfielder, who an integral member of the Libya national team will see his contract with Besiktas elapse in the summer of 2027.
Since making his debut for Libya in 2014, Al-Musrati has made 40 appearances for the national team, scoring two goals across the period.
