Al Ahly are making urgent efforts to get Moroccan defender Ashraf Dari fit ahead of a key stretch in the season, hoping to cut his recovery time by four days.
Originally set for a two-week layoff due to a back muscle strain, the club is trying to bring him back within ten days, underlining his value to the squad.
A source told Kooora that Dari’s condition is being closely monitored and all resources are being used to ensure his quick return. With a busy schedule looming, Al Ahly view his presence as vital at the back.
Meanwhile, Moroccan left-back Yahya Attiatallah is progressing well in his recovery. He is expected to start light running within two days and join team training in about a week.
Left-back Karim Al-Dabis has also resumed light jogging and should return to full training in the coming week.
Additionally, Karim Fouad has started participating gradually in training sessions after recovering from a cruciate ligament injury that sidelined him for eight months.
Al Ahly will enter a closed camp in Alexandria ahead of Thursday’s clash with Al Masry.
