South Africa outfit Kaizer Chiefs have expressed strong interest in Chippa United defender Thabo Makhele ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Soweto giants are seeking to augment their squad for the upcoming campaign, following an inconsistent performance this campaign.
Makhele has caught the attention of Kaizer Chiefs following his outstanding performance for the Chilli Boys this season. The 30-year-old defender has made 27 appearances for Chippa United and showcased glimpse of good performance.
In an attempt to secure the signing of Makhele, Kaizer Chiefs intends to release a couple of defenders from the team. The Soweto giants sees the experienced defender as perfect player to solidify the team for the new campaign.
