Influential Morocco international Achraf Hakimi says his outfit Paris Saint Germain will give their all to secure qualification over Arsenal in the Champions League.
The French giants will play host to the Gunners in the semifinals return leg on Wednesday night as both teams eyes qualification to the finals.
PSG goes into the reverse fixture with the advantage having secured a crucial 1-0 away win over Arsenal at Emirates Stadium last week.
Ahead of the match, Achraf Hakimi has emphasized the importance of playing at the Parc des Princes in front of a home crowd, and has called on supporters to make as much of a hostile atmosphere as possible to welcome the North London side.
“I think the key will be to do what we’ve been doing since the start of the season, to show personality when we don’t have the ball and not give our opponents any gifts,” said Hakimi in a press conference transcribed by RMC Sport. “Since I’ve been in Paris, I’ve felt the support of the fans. Tomorrow, we’ll need it more than ever. Arsenal need to feel that we’re at the Parc des Princes.”
“The atmosphere is going to be incredible. We want to send a very clear message: we’re going to give it our all for them, to make them proud. There have been difficult times and they’ve always been behind us. They deserve it.”
The 26-year-old has scored six goals and delivered 14 assists in 44 appearances across competitions for PSG this season.
