Zamalek attacker Nasser Mansi has etched his name into the history books of the Egyptian Premier League following his strike against National Bank on Monday.
The 27-year-old Egyptian forward scored under one-minute in the Premier League, as his outfit held National Bank to a 2-2 draw.
Mansi broke the deadlock just 23 seconds into the match, marking the fastest goal in the Egyptian Premier League so far this season.
His lightning-fast opener not only gave Zamalek an early advantage, but also entered the record books among the fastest goals in league history.
Mansi, who joined Zamalek in 2023 now leads the league’s scoring chart with 10 goals—edging out Emam Ashour (Al Ahly), Osama Faisal (Al Ahly Bank), and Mohamed Ali Ben Hammouda (Ghazl El Mahalla), with 9 goals each.
Despite suffering a nasal bone injury, Mansi played with a protective face mask, underlining his grit and determination in a standout season for both player and club.
