Everton and Wolverhampton Wanderers are interested in signing Ivorian forward Nicolas Pépé in the summer transfer window.

The two English Premier League clubs want to strengthen for next season and believe recruiting the former Arsenal big-money signing will reinforce their squad.

Nicolas Pépé, 29, formerly played for Lille and OGC Nice but currently plays in the Spanish La Liga for Villarreal.

This season, the Africa Cup of Nations winner has scored seven goals for Villarreal and appears to have found his form.

His performances have attracted interest from a number of clubs but it is Everton and Wolves who are preparing to contact the attacker over a potential transfer.

Meanwhile, sources have revealed that Villarreal are also impressed with the displays of Nicolas Pépé, and want to extend his contract.

It means Everton and Wolves must be convincing in any bid that will be presented to the Spanish club if they want to be successful in their pursuit of the Ivorian.

Reports indicated that some clubs in Saudi Arabia are also interested in signing the forward in the summer transfer window.
